"

There is something profoundly beautiful about coming along side someone and joining in their journey, being willing enough to say “I love you, that is why I want to share this path with you; for better or for worse.” and that doesn’t have to be in marriage, I think friendship is a lot like this. We find people we enjoy, learn to love them as they are and then we just do life together.

Once strangers; now partners in a new voyage that neither really know where it will leave. Christ does this, we are introduced to this Man, but as we learn about Him we start to see that we too want to walk this road with Him, to Him, and for Him. Never realizing that our path was never really that far from Him in the first place, He was always there, in one way or another; He was always wanting us to join Him.

Never take for granted the beauty of sharing a journey with someone, and never lose sight of the promise of the faithfulness that God has when it comes to walking alongside you.

"The only people I would care to be with now are artists and people who have suffered: those who know what beauty is, and those who know what sorrow is: nobody else interests me."

"I like cancelled plans. And empty bookstores. I like rainy days and thunderstorms. And quiet coffee shops. I like messy beds and over-worn pajamas. Most of all, I like the small joys that a simple life brings."

"I used to think the worst thing in life was to end up all alone. It’s not. The worst thing in life is to end up with people who make you feel all alone."

"I like messy people; people who don’t fit in a box or stay between the lines, but whose integrity is greater than any rule book and whose loyalty is stronger than blood."
